The study evaluated physico-chemical parameters such as BOD, COD, Total Coliform, Fecal Coliform, heavy metals, pesticides residues in GW samples collected from 14 locations in the entire stretch of river Ganga, identified problem areas/gaps and recommend key remedial action points. Based on the results, strategic treatment facility will be established in these villages.
